The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
